Margaret had her first class today. The History of Craft Beer in Wisconsin - a special presentation part of Madison Craft Beer Week - madbeerweek.com She wasn’t the best student as she fell asleep right in the middle of class.

This is the picture I took right after telling Margaret that regardless of the recall petition that she singed in utero and the democratic primary that she just voted in, that she needs to vote one more time in another month to determine if in fact Governor Walker is voted out of office. 

Here is the picture we took after Margaret’s first election. I told her that the Elephant bib that she wore better not have been an indication of her political sympathies.

Live in one of these five states? They are the worst on voting rights.

These are all states with Republican governors and Republican majorities in their state houses. What a shock.

“Fun” fact on voting day. This makes me sad to be on this list.

Maggie wins Daughter of the Day award

We forgot to set the alarm for work. We ended up waking up to Maggie squeaking and squawking - 15 minutes later than we normally get up. Well done Margaret.
